SSA Regional Impact Room

On Saturday 28th January 2023, we held our first in-person session of the SSA Regional Impact Rooms in Harare, Zimbabwe at the Karigamombe ICMF. This Impact Room was under the theme: Impact Journeys, where we got the chance to Educate, Engage and Enable our community through - Shared experiences from experienced changemakers, Pitching sessions and a Meet & Greet session. The work was led by our Ambassador in Zimbabwe, Ms Kudakwashe Whitney Foya with the support of the Programs, Safeguarding and Communications teams.

In this session, the focus was engaging our community on the SDGs and making them aware of their role in achieving these goals. Therefore the discussion was open to all young people with ideas, initiatives and projects across all sectors as long as they work to solve some of the challenges within their communities. Because our intention is to reach out to a diverse range of changemakers, we partnered with local organizations and initiatives within Zimbabwe so that we can increase access and reach of our offerings.
