The Peace First Ambassador program is a 12-month emerging leadership volunteer opportunity for talented young changemakers, influencers and organizers from around the world. Peace First Ambassadors will work closely with Fellows in Residence in their region in a volunteer capacity to recruit, mentor and lead other young people to address injustices in their communities.

The Ambassadors program aims to invest in the power, creativity and impact of young leaders by providing volunteer leadership positions specifically for young people within the Peace First community. The program is an opportunity to expand their leadership skills and knowledge about their regions and the world, in order to develop visionary leaders who can be youth mobilizers and changemakers of the present and the future.

Ambassadors’ responsibilities vary by region, but may include recruiting new projects, providing feedback on Compassionate Insights and Plans and creating community spaces for young people in their regions to connect, share ideas and learning and support one another.

All Ambassadors will receive training, coaching and support from Fellows in Residence and Peace First staff. Through their service, Ambassadors will build important skills and connect to a community of like-minded youth from around the world.
