¿Cómo profundizó el proyecto la comprensión de la injusticia en tu equipo?
This project deepened my team's understanding on the injustice by bringing a group of African American students together and helping them getting their voices heard and motivate one another.

I feel through this BSA the African American population at my school has gotten a lot closer.

In addition to those directly impacted, are there additional people you feel were indirectly indirectly impacted or reached? If so, how many? (This might include people who read about your project, families of people that attended your workshops or received services, etc.)
I came up with 175 because there are about 125 African American students at my school and 100 people from this population would attend meetings and such and enjoyed Alliance. And the leftover 75 students came from students of other minority groups that began a Latino Student Alliance and an Asian Cultural Union because of our stance on this injustice.

My team learned more about the people affected by the injustice by having a open discussions and planned discussions once a week.

My team came up with ways to address racism, how to code switch in order to fit in with different crowds, and that you do get judged based on how you dress.

When we first started everyone was extremely rowdy and it was very hard to have genuine conversations.

I have involved others in carrying out and expanding this project by creating a leadership team that helps create the planned discussions, looks over our work, and helps expands this project.
¿Qué consejo le darías a alguien que inicia un proyecto de paz?
I would say that this is the most supportive leadership program I have participated in. Writing down my plans and steps helped a lot. Also, this is the first time adults have told me to stand against an injustice and actually funded it for me. All in all, Peace First is extremely helpful.
