What is the injustice we are solving?


Our Compassionate Solution:

To solve this injustice of Nepotism is the practise of those in power or influence of favouring friends and relatives. Especially in giving them jobs
we will address The Discrimination of people in authority on people who are not related to them.
by Conducting a peaceful rally and sharing a leaflet that contains information on need to reject nepotism and the danger of nepotism to the society.

By encouraging and advising the victims on the need to stay focused and not spending much time thinking about the injustice meted on them and will partner with them to put an end to the injustice through proper Sensitisation of people engaging in the injustice.

How will you show courage?

I will show courage by meeting the people involved in this act of nepotism and educate them on the dangers it causes to the society and the need to avoid it. I will approach them through writing to them through email and having a meeting with them.

How will you collaborate with others?

I will collaborate with others by creating an organization whose sole aim is to put an end to Nepotism and sensitizing people on the need to stand up to this injustice. Organisations like:-HELPING HANDS;This is an organisations who sole purpose is to help and assist people in need. -STAND UP : This is an organisation whose sole purpose is to stand up to injustice meted on people through peaceful protest and rallies.

How will you know you are moving in the right direction? (What are specific ways you can measure your impact?)

I will know if am moving in the right direction when i get 30 people to join and support me in my project. -by the strength,willingness and support of the volunteers.

Key Steps

  • 1)set up rules and regulations to guild the activities of the project.
  • 2) get 30 people to join in my project.
  • 3)educate them on the meaning and dangers of injustice.
  • 4) set up focus group discussions and questionnaire with the members.
  • 5)conduct a three day rally thereby getting people sensitized on the injustice.

Dear Onyeubi,

Thanks for submitting your mini-grant request. There are a few additional steps that we need to do before approving the mini-grant. Submitting the budget is the first step.

Now, it is time to conduct the Mini-Grant Verification and Coaching Process (VCP). We conduct this process to ensure a high level of accountability for Peace First, make sure that money is going to help the implementation of projects run by young people, and provide additional mentoring to projects receiving grants. As part of this process, we will have a video call with you to help us understand your project better and provide additional mentoring.
