Hi Bernard! Thanks for sharing your compassionate insight-- I'm part of the Peace First team and wanted to give you some formal feedback on your compassionate insight. We provide insight feedback to help teams further strengthen their ideas to come up with the best possible solution as they head into the plan phase.

I think it is fantastic that want to have "courageous conversations" with people of other faith backgrounds! I think creating spaces for dialogue across lines of difference is so critical to building understanding --- such important work and not always easy to make that commitment - so I commend you for the courage and compassion it takes to get started.

For the insight, we are asking for you to identify 1) the injustice that you want to change (the first part of the sentence) 2) one of the root causes -- the things that are creating or perpetuating that injustice (part two of sentence) and then 3) your solution -- the idea that you will implement in order to address that root cause. With that said, it would be helpful if you could rephrase your insight to help us understand what "injustice" you are attempting to address through this work and how. It sounds to me like having courageous conversations might be part o the solution to a problem that you are working on.

Once you have a solid sense of what the "injustice" is that you want to change through these courageous conversations, it will help to dive into the "root causes" -- what is happening under the surface that is creating the injustice?

these tools may help:

I also wanted to share some resources and stories about dialogue across difference that might help or inspire you... Keep up the good work!

Essential Partners is an organization with a ton of free (in depth) resources on dialogue building (you'll need to create an account to access them):

Hi Bernard,
Thanks a lot for your reply. We encourage people not to share their personal details as part of the community norms:

Is this a project that you are unable to share details for?

Thanks so much for sharing your project. Getting started is sometimes the hardest step when moving to address injustices that you want to solve in your community. I like the title of your project and I'd love to learn more. We are here to help!
I look forward to hearing more.
