Walter Okwir is a 24-year-old changemaker from Uganda. He is passionate about Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights & Gender Equality. He started an initiative in his community in Kayunga district in central Uganda to train adolescent girls and young women on how to make reusable sanitary towels.

He hopes to expand his initiative to other local communities through an organization he founded called 'Youth Inclusion and Empowerment Network.'
