Conflict Resolution Training to university student

A Peacemaking Project by Abbas A.

What is the injustice we are solving?

I strongly believe that Peace Education can address the core problem of our society and it will tackle the root causes of violent extremism which today our young generation is facing in large scale. when we train the university student in large number they will spread the message of peace in their families plus communities across the remote areas of the country, this means we can build peace messengers network in order to countering violence in family, community and violence extremism in society at large scale.

Our Compassionate Solution:

To solve this injustice of there are huge gaps between the urban and rural people in respect to achieving to peace education.
we will address the root causes of this is unwilling of working on rural areas. the NGOs and government sometimes are not able to work in most of the remote areas of the country but sometimes it come with not welling of working and solving the people's problems.
by students who are studying in our university are from different corner of this country. they can be best peace messenger in all across the country and can spread the word peace and educate other through non violence

Hi Abbas!

Thanks for posting this project. Conflict resolution training is a very useful and important way to make campuses safer. I'm wondering if there are any youth leaders on this project (ages 13-24)? Looking forward to talking more!

Best,
Adrian

Dear Adrian
I am teaching in Gawharshad University, students are pursuing their bachelor degree and most of them are between 18-25 years old. The youth groups and students peace groups are mostly between this age.

Thanks for sharing, Abbas! Are you planning to work with young people on this project? What're their roles?
I noticed that you teach at Gawharshad University, so I am wondering if there's a possibility to encourage your students to join Peace First platform and create their own peacemaking project.

Peace First supports young people between the ages of 13-24, helping them to develop and implement solutions to pressing problems in their communities.

Please let me know what do you think.

Hi Abbas--awesome! Are they leading the project? If so, they should join the peacefirst.org platform and become members of this project--then we can all communicate together. Let me know if you need help with figuring out how to do that!
