Dare for Genocide Awareness and Hope
A Peacemaking Project by Raquel L.
What is the injustice we are solving?
Dare for Genocide Awareness And Hope is an advocacy organization that works with I-ACT. This advocacy organization is for artist and writers to advocate for Rwanda, Chad and Darfur refugees. I will write articles, draw pictures or write fiction stories and paint their point of view. Activists are welcome to submit artwork too.Refugees can add their artwork and writing too. In the end result we are sending the books of the writing and artwork and sending it to the refugees to give them hope. We have successfully sent out DFGAAH books to Chad through I-Act on our first mission and recently I-Act got our second and third book out. Our next goal is to send the fourth book to Chad. DFGAAH also raises money for International Rescue Committee and I-ACT. One of our goals is to create a college in Chad for refugees.
Our Compassionate Solution:
To solve this injustice of Hate and lack of education
we will address this
by building a college for refugees and making books filled with hope and supplies.
Our Project Plan:
- Get book supplies for school
We will increase my / our compassion by...
Making books of love and buying them supplies
How will you show courage?
How will you collaborate with others?
How will you know you are moving in the right direction? (What are specific ways you can measure your impact?)
By forming a group and building connections with the Darfur community and getting money and loans to form the school
- Notebooks, Pens, pencils, textbook, color pencils, erasers,
