Everyone deserves to feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.
A Peacemaking Project by Sanah J.
What is the injustice we are solving?
When I was in the seventh grade, I lost all of my hair to a condition called Alopecia. With every strand of hair, I lost a bit of confidence, until I was left with nothing. I want to teach others the importance of self-love and self-confidence.
Our Compassionate Solution:
To solve this injustice of lack of self-love
we will address lack of programming in schools
by providing free assemblies and curriculum to K-12 campuses

I really love what you've done with your compassionate insight -- I think it's brilliant. "Lack of self-love" can cause serious harm (and you've got great ideas about how, and why that is), and lack of programming in schools is a definite root cause (how do we expect young people to practice something we don't teach?). So your solution of self-love programming is very logical.
I'm really excited to learn more about what that curriculum will look like! What, in your mind, are the things people need to learn most about self-love? Do you have curriculum developed, or are you in the process of doing that?
Most importantly -- how can we help??
Your next step is to share your project plan (we can help you with one if you don't already have it!) and apply for a mini-grant on your project dashboard! We encourage you to do this by April 15th -- this will make you eligible for some special opportunities! :)

We wanted to let you know that we are extending the deadline for active projects to apply for a Mini-Grant during this Peace First Challenge to April 15th. You can apply for a mini-grant anytime, but meeting the Challenge deadlines will make you eligible for additional opportunities.
If you do not require a mini-grant to complete your project, you can remain eligible for the Accelerator by completing your project and Reflection before the May 31st deadline! If you submit your project plan by April 15th, we'll be sure to provide you with feedback by April 21st to support you with carrying out the plan.
If you are still in early stages of planning, you are also welcome to apply for a mini-grant at a later date -- although you may not be eligible for an Accelerator, the opportunity for funding and support is always there.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and if we can support your project in any way! :)
