Find Your Voice (Greeley, CO)

A Peacemaking Project by Indigo P.

What is the injustice we are solving?

Refugee and immigrant students at my high school have valuable insights that they could add to our school culture, but no way to share their stories due to language barriers and cultural biases.

Our Compassionate Solution:

To solve this injustice of immigrants being misunderstood and unable to contribute their valuable insight to our school culture
we will address their inability to share their stories
by creating a photo journal and essay about their stories through my AP Seminar class.

Hi Indigo,

I am Andrea from Peace First :) How was your Monday? Mine was quite inspiring. Actually, you inspired me! I read the projects we have received from the Colorado challenge (yours and the young people that participated in the lab!). I am so inspired by your work and your determination to solve this injustice.

I think you should check the other projects, and share your ideas and suggestions by leaving a comment. Remember that we are a community and we all love to get feedback from our peers :)
