Life Design Initiative in Ecuador

A Peacemaking Project by Maria C.

What is the injustice we are solving?

Traditional education has taugh individuals to obey instead of developing their own critical thinking. Public education works with a curriculum that started after the Industrial Revolution and yet, we are not helping our children and people to thrive and discover their own potential. With The Life Experiment I work with youth and people with training and one on one sessions so that they understand better who they are, and who they want to be.

I created a workshop for people to focus on their 2018. What do they want to achieve? What are their values? What happened in 2017 that was valuable for them?

Hi Fish, I'm planning to bring my project to schools and work with them. Where should I update the information about the one on one sessions or training?

Hi Maria -- this is a really exciting idea! Definitely agree that children need more opportunities to thrive and discover their own potential. The approach of doing training and working one on one with students to help them with self-discovery sounds really great! I'd love to hear a little more about what those trainings and one-to-one sessions look like!

What are your plans for this spring, and how can we help?
