A Peacemaking Project by Rakesh K.
What is the injustice we are solving?
As a Team we have decide to get some changes in the society, society is formed with Male, female and transgenders. As usual the Gov't have provided public toilets for male and female separately but there is no any toilet facility for transgenders. So here transgender are confused to go to either male toilets (or) female toilet,so this is the reason we have come up with a concept called "TRANSGENDER TOILET".

Thanks for posting this important project! Transgender access to public toilet facilities is an important issue, and I'm glad you're thinking about it! Are you working alongside transgender people in your area to find out what they need and what will be most helpful for them? Some transgender people need safe access to the men's or the women's toilet, and some transgender people need safe access to a toilet that isn't separated by gender. For many transgender men or women, it's important to be able to use the men's or women's toilet without fear of violence. Some transgender people are not men or women, or are both. Many of these people (and others) may need a toilet without gender requirements. This resource will help you with the process of talking to others to learn more about how and why this injustice is happening: https://www.peacefirst.org/resource/understand-1-talking-others
The next step for your project is to understand your injustice. Before coming up with a plan for the solution, it's important to understand the root causes of why some people don't have access to safe use of public toilets. This link can help with that: https://www.peacefirst.org/projects/test-project-3/dashboard/understand-injustice
In general, you can check out our Peace First resources here: https://www.peacefirst.org/resources. Please let us know if you need any help or have any questions! I'm excited to see this project grow!

We would encourage everyone who is at this stage of their project to work towards deepening their understanding of the injustice they are focusing on. It would be great to talk to other people in your community and try to understand their perspective or other people who are trying to solve the same justice or/and people who are already working to solve this injustice.
Also, use the problem and solution tree to discover the root causes and consequences of your chosen injustice and it will guide you to more solutions. Here are some resources on how to do that: https://www.peacefirst.org/understand-through-compassion
Please let us know how can we help.
