Peace Start With Children

What is the injustice we are solving?
This project is focusing on school children in the rural communities of Nigeria to understand the importance of peace through respect of culture, gender, religion and view towards a peaceful coexistence as children and this will have direct impact in the school, families where they come from and large affect the entire community because we would be teaching them on how to settle crisis in a peaceful approach and promoting Peaceful dialog during conflict and disagreement in their communities

We are making progress daily which Peace Start with children,
We talk a bold step to get teachers involve where they needed to become agent of peace and advocate to support children taking step in peace,
Zero discrimination in schools is a sustainable way to promote Peace among children in school and once this in place it will increase the confidence level and sense of belonging to embrace Peaceful coexistence am them....

Hi Adigun -- this is such an important issue and we're glad you're working on it! How are young people (under 25) involved in creating and leading this project?

Thanks Fish,
We see them as #PeaceAgentWHRF to a better world.
As organisation operating in the rural areas in Nigeria, Africa
We have experience lot of domestic conflict, bullying and various ugly situations
The only solution that's sustainable is for us to change the mindset and orientation of children on school which in return have impacted positively on their families

We continuously teach them about respect of gender and value for others, through this most for hundreds of children we have been working with as become peacemakers when conflict start among their parents in a gentle and polite way.
