I'm really not sure yet. I don't even have a group of kids in mind, just feel the need to help.

Hello! I think you have a really good idea! Embracing cultural diversity is part of the reason I want to teach one day (with an emphasis on different religions and cultures). I see from your project page that you are wondering if you are sticking your nose where it doesn't belong, and I want to tell you that you are not! All it takes is someone to care and then take action. You could start with one school, one group, or maybe even a group that meets at a library or other community space. Invite people to come learn and be open-minded. Pick topics, do your research, and share with others. Eventually, other people will start sharing, too, and before you know it, change will happen. I have joined your project, and look forward to watching it grow!

One more thing I thought of is once you have people attending, you could invite people from your community who represent different cultures and religions to come in and share their stories. If you do not live in a very diverse area, maybe there is someone who lived or traveled somewhere else, and they may have photos and stories to share.
