<em>"To Solve the Injustice of the gender gap in STEM related fields, we will address encouraging diversity, working against existing stereotypes and thereby decreasing discrimination in the computer science field specifically, by creating a summer program that introduces young women to the foundation of computer sciences and its application to social good, and culminates in them coding a program that has the potential to positively affect their communities."</em>

Thanks for sharing your insight. As an engineer myself, I am always very passionate about finding ways to make STEM-related fields more inclusive. I am very excited to hear how your summer program goes. Have you been part of one of these summer programs or is this the first time you organize one of these? Is there any particular area we can help you with?

In the meantime, I am not sure if you have heard of some of these programs that focus on supporting girls interested in technology and computing:

I look forward to hearing from you!
