Kids who have lost their parents and who are in foster care and we have lived in many homes because we are problem children to people. It is hard to lose your parents and all the other kids have their parents. I think foster kids need to unite to know they are not alone out there and that there are people who understand them and want to love them.

I'm Teris Tamang from Nepal. I'm focusing on Cancer Patients' Mental Health. We are facing many health problems in Nepal because of approximately two-thirds of health problems in Nepal. Millions of people are at risk of infection and thousands of them die of mental anxiety every year or depression of cancer and health-related events which particularly affect the poor living in rural areas. Cancer cases are increasing day by day. The economic burdens associated with mental disorder exceed four other non-communicable diseases associated to each other: cancer, diabetes, chronic respiratory diseases and cardiovascular diseases. With a low per capita income $600 (£420), the majority of Nepal’s people are bound to struggle to afford expensive cancer treatment personally in the absence of proper health insurance system. In the same time, cancer patients are suffering from mental disorder because they lose hope for life.

But lack of mental health program, awareness program, ignorance about diseases, considering disease as an ‘incurable one’, it’s high cost of treatment, numerous cancer patients choose to commit suicide in Nepal but that is not the solution. Cancer patients’ suicidal trend is a big problem here. The patients with untreated depression or anxiety are less likely to take their cancer treatment. Motivation is highly required in this field as in other spheres.
I hope with all of your help and support, we could bring change in our society and cancer patients life

Peace be upon you

Injustice is to place the thing in its own place by increasing or decreasing, or by deviating from its place or time
and
inconvenience:The behavior is repetitively annoying, authoritarian and arrogant
Illiteracy and dropout from schools is one of the important problems of society

Greetings, In Namibia a alot of girls among the previously disadvantaged and marginalized communities are increasingly dropping or missing school due to a lack of access and availability of sanitary products. In most cases, adolescent girls and young women from these communities fall prey Sugar Daddies. This result in high HIV/AIDS prevalence rates, gender based violence and other related social-ills.
Andrea C.

January 23, 2019

Hi Taljaard,

What you are telling us is so alarming! Every girl and women should have access to sanitary products and menstrual health education. Many young people on our platform are working on this issue. Here are some awesome projects:
https://www.peacefirst.org/project/menstruation-hygiene-awareness
https://www.peacefirst.org/project/menstruation-matters-together-her
https://www.peacefirst.org/project/change-cycle

None of these projects is from Namibia, but if you know young people (13 - 25 years old in Namibia) that want to solve this injustice, please tell them about us! After creating a user account, they can create a project, and we will be more than happy to support them. The young people can create a project here https://www.peacefirst.org/project/create

Please let us know if you have questions.

Best,
Andrea

There is a difference between injustice and inconvenience

Where injustice is the seizure of civil, social, political, intellectual, cultural, material and other rights of others and the confiscation of their freedoms .. And injustice is the opposite of justice and contrast .. While the inconvenience is to harass you and dispute these rights and disturb your calm ..
In Yemen, there is a severe injustice to which individuals are subjected individually and collectively to violate their human rights guaranteed by all laws. They are also subjected to kidnapping, imprisonment and extrajudicial executions. Civilians are subjected to indiscriminate and systematic killing due to war, lawlessness and the absence of state and their property, houses and shops.

Hi Hafed,

Thank you so much for sharing your excellent analysis! I love how you have defined injustice by using an example. Great job!

Greetings to all!

I'm Manija. I'm from Tajikistan, from the city of Khujand. And the injustice that I try so hard to solve is the education system in our country. Because education in our country is not very good, its development is not so fast. Due to the fact that illiterate teachers admit to work, many students can not solve elementary problems. This is ruining the present generation. Our president says that "Young is the future of the nation" but this future is created by the teacher. What happens to the country if these teachers do not create it but destroy it?

Hello, everyone ! I'm Khurshed.I come from Tajikistan, I live in the Pamirs. Now I study in Russia .I think in most countries in the world as in our country the main problem is the inequality of opportunities of all people, someone more, someone less , someone gave the money and took it to some school or University , and now, with this issue continuing the chain and in society there are other problems

There is a great inconvenience in the school in my community. They have a shortage of plates in their school thus some of them are served for food in polythene paper bags which is a health hazard.

That's really upsetting! Sounds like an important injustice. Hope you'll create a project at peacefirst.org/projects.
