In honor of Pride Month, GLAAD has launched a podcast to amplify voices of the LGBTQ community. GLAAD, which originally began as the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, has been working for over 30 years to accelerate acceptance of the LGBTQ community.

The new podcast is named glaadcast and aims to empower LGBTQ community members with interviews of queer change-makers. It will also provide news related to LGBTQ issues to help inform its listeners with relevant information.

GLAAD has been expanding its media presence to reach more young people. Earlier this year, they launched amp to share the experiences of young change-makers and amplify LGBTQ voices. The online series features stories created by and for young change-makers in the LGBTQ community.
