Every Monday, the staff here at Peace First are proposed a question - sometimes it's silly, sometimes it's about a holiday or a current event, sometimes it gets deep.

This week, our fearless leader asked us about hope, more specifically, where do we find hope today?

"Hope is not only audacious, it is substantial. Hope is what allows us to deal with problems creatively. In order to deal with fear, we have to mobilize hope. Hope is one of the most precious gifts we can give each other and the people we work with to make change." -Marshall Ganz

So, where do you find hope?

I think this is an awesome question! Personally, I find hope whenever I see someone taking a courageous act in order to help others. I feel like recently -- this weekend especially -- I've seen a lot of people standing up for what they believe is right, even at cost to themselves.

And what's particularly amazing, of course, is when young people are the ones taking a stand!
